I think Scoot is the budget subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. We’ve flown on quite a few low cost Far East airlines and they’ve all done exactly what it says on the tin. No nonsense, efficient and cheap - using modern aircraft. The only downside was the snack of dried anchovies we were given on an internal flight in Malaysia one time!

No personal experience but friends flew on them from Thailand to Oz.
This was during their 2 year round the world trip where they travelled around Europe, Africa, SE Asia, Oz/NZ and North, Central & South America on a variety of well known and not so well known airlines plus other modes of transport including local minibuses with fellow passengers and livestock & riverboats with mechanical cargo surrounding them etc; they said Scoot was their worst travel experience & 'never again'.
