DVC Room Requests questions

Hi all

We’re travelling to WDW with 2 other families and all of us have rented points at BCV on separate bookings.

We’d like to link our bookings and request rooms near each other.

Does anyone have any tips on the best way to do this? Would you call up? Email the request in? Any other options?

Also, what timings would you recommend? The sooner the better? Or would a few weeks before we go be a better time as it’s more relevant and likely to be the time the rooms are being assigned?

You can’t, only the owner can speak to member services so you’d have to ask them. You do have the limited options (High floor etc) on the app.
Warning- requests are often not met I find.

Thanks for the response Yorkshire. Appreciate that only the owner can contact member services, but assuming the owner is happy to do that on our behalf, any recommendations on best method?

All you can do is ask the owner to contact them, best method in my opinion is via chat, taking a copy. I did rent my points once via Dave’s who asked me to email this exact request- 2 parties travelling together and could they have close rooms. Dave’s asked me to send them a copy of the email, which I was happy to do. Obviously I have no idea if it worked out for those renters.

Ask the DVC owner to speak to Member services, I just did this for our August trip, we're out with friends and have 2 x 1 beds, she linked the reservations for me to show we're 1 party, so that we're as close together as possible.

They’ve told me that they have, so hopefully!
