We should run a sweepstake on which 'celebrities' attend... to show 'solidarity'...

My DD is in Bristol today as she studies Biology at the University of Bristol. She’s just walked up to uni and there’s already a huge crowd gathered to see Greta and the roads in the city centre are closed. She says there appears to be a lot of parents walking there with their children to support the children.

My DD is really disappointed that she cannot attend but her lab lesson this morning is crucial and counts towards her end of year exam. She wishes to work in conservation so would have found it very interesting and feels the Biology students should have been given the opportunity to attend.

I feel the children have a right to be heard as it’s their future and many are very worried about it. I don’t think they are attending as a lark to get out of school for a day, I think there are serious concerns and they want awareness of the concerns. If the ‘strike’ was on a Sunday, it wouldn’t cause as much awareness.

Yep, sneering is a popular pass time it seems.

Sneering? or Humour?

Humour is a good pastime, I've found.

Not sneering, just don't like things like this that often do cause disruption to people who don't need it in their day to day lives... Look at how extinction rebellion brought places to a standstill. A lot of comments on here are people being lighthearted and joking about stuff... I personally do what I can to be environmentally conscious, I recycle all the time... We have no option anyway as bin sizes changed so it's easy to do to fit in with bin rotas where I live, I don't fly around countless times a year... Noted if I could afford too it might be more appealing to me, we don't have a big gas guzzling car, I can go on, as a family we do what we can it's all about being aware and using common sense, some will I like to think the majority do, some just carry on regardless you can't win em all.

No matter how curious I am about these candles of hers it's not a fragrance I'd be burning, I'll stick to black cherry or rhubarb candles thanks gwyneth 😕😕
