this is always a hit ds thinks its hilarious

another fave is the indoor snowballs - the elves and a few teddies dotted around the living room with snowballs everywhere - I get ds to pick them up so we have a snowball fight

We don't do elf mischief everyday some days they leave gifts instead- xmas activity book/set or a voucher for an activity we're going to be doing

closer to xmas we have the elves wrapping presents for santa/rudolph something like a 1/2 wrapped carrot and elf tangled in the tape/wrapping

Ours is a good elf & Gosh I’ve done all sorts over the years but the favourites have been;

Tea party with dollies
Hiding in the Christmas tree the day the cleaners were coming
Adding play animals to her sled & having them pull her along
Various gymnastics positions
Creating a washing line & hanging it along our fire then hanging all her clothes on to dry whilst she was wrapped in a body & hair towel
In the bathroom mirror cabinet brushing her teeth
Climbing up the fridge to the sweet cupboard on Christmas present bows
Watching ‘elf’ on daughters IPad
Swinging from a dining rm light shade on her swing
Setting up a deluxe hot chocolate station with all the trimmings
Wearing my daughters Christmas jewellery
An elf joined her one night one year as our elf wasn’t reporting naughty behaviour back to Father Christmas so she was shadowed for a week & he set up a kissing booth (made from cardboard & decorated) & dolls were queuing
Loads more as been doing it for far too many years lol

Been quite boring this year as was hoping she wouldn’t return but on 1st Dec DD (10) said she hoped she returned so mad scramble to find her & no planning done in preparation!

She’s slept in her sleeping bag
Slept on a big fluffy blanket zonked out face down
Slept with the teddies at the end of DD’s bed
Slept in the cats bed
Broke her leg & had it in plaster so couldn’t move for a few days
Cuddled up to our light up snowman decoration
Worn some new clothes
Made her some candy canes
More gymnastics moves
Had her sleigh & swing out
Made mini pancakes with chopped strawberries & dark chocolate ready for breakfast
Done snow angels
