Taking decorations down Boxing Day
Everyone else I talk to seems to think I am mad.
First thing this morning and everything is down. House all cleaned. Now we are just left with masses of presents to find homes for. The house looks bare and I can’t remember what I actually had on my units before all the tinsel. This seems to always be our Boxing Day tradition now, decorations down, clean and eat leftovers. Plus try and play as many games as possible. Currently my 31yr 🙄, 5yr and 4yr are battling at tekan on the ps1. Hubby is losing badly to Scarlett. |

Your home, your traditions .
Who cares what anyone else does ! We wait til 12th night unless them get annoying (think cats are in destruction mode) but they only go up a week before Christmas. |

waiting impatiently...!

Boxing Day is a day for relaxing not for a whole house clean. I love my tree and it took too much effort to put it up only to take it down too soon after the big day... plus I like to have it up still for new year celebrations.

Twelve night for us, we were very late putting the tree up, so longer the better.

My sons coming on the 3rd Jan, so they will stay up till the 5th, it would be the 2nd or 3rd Normally. I actually don’t mind the week after Christmas, we go shopping, talks doggy out and have a few meals out. It does seem like a lot of Sunday’s in a row, do what you like it’s what makes you happy x
