Madrid

[ERICSMUM]

Planning my next city break, hopefully 2-3 days in Madrid.

Can anyone recommend from personal experience, a decent 3 or 4 star hotel in the city centre please ?

As I travel solo I prefer a hotel in a busy area so that I can feel comfortable venturing out in the evening.

Linda my daughter went for a weekend last year and this it where she stayed and what she said -
“ Petit palace posada del peine- it’s a chain and they have a few in Madrid. Location was v good - right by Plaza mayor and rooms were really nice. Breakfast was a bit rubbish but we went out for it anyway”

We stayed in the Hotel Atlantico. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, very central and easy to get places. Short walk to nearest metro, also lots of buses.

Lovely hotel, fab breakfast and very central ..
