Florida 2018 - Promises made and promises delivered - Day 4 – Epcot

This section is going to be short and not so sweet as Caj was still poorly and laid up in bed.

Buf if you are very quiet…listen…can you hear anything?

No – it’s that quiet time of the day again – ideal for relaxation and breakfast. We had fast passes today which included Soarin and Test track so we were going to go ahead and leav Caj at home in the hope she would feel better later.

But as per normal the day started with still waters…until his NIffness appeared!

Anyway, breakfast consumed and all magic bands present Niff and I got into the car and drove to Epcot and parked up.

We made our way to the land and went on Soarin which Niff loved. We found out as a result of this holiday he wasn’t one for the slower rides such as IASW or a lot of the stuff in MK but loves stuff such as Test Track (More later) and the AK mountains. Oh, and shopping too – he loves – dare I almost say – is addicted to shopping especially when Dad is paying!

We stopped for a Starbucks which was nex to the mountains but is sadly no longer there. That was another chain which did well out of us that holiday – Niff loved his Starbucks but they always seemed to be so slow at serving drinks. Maybe that is my memory playing up and we need to go back to prove the point 😊

I loved watching the fountains – but sadly they have been recently demolished to make way for some of the stuff announced at D23.

Test track called – again Niff loved this and enjoyed the design your car bit.

I can’t remember much more about that day but I remember Niff taking this photo of Spaceship earth – which remained his wallpaper on his phone for many months afterwards the holiday.

Niff was starting to flag now…so it was time to leave the park.

We made our way to the Nike outlet store on 192 where he made a miraculous recovery before going back to the villa for some pool time and tea. Caj had started to perk up so we were hopeful the following day.
