I’d say 50% of the people I’ve known have ended up with severe squits. As a result I will not personally go.
My secretary was off a week after coming back once- she reckoned it was the Hard Rock.

Me and my DH are off there next week for a few nights, looks wonderful! May book for the summer with the kids if we really like it. Have you been?

I've never been but take a look at the foreign office website advice on travel to Egypt. Yes I know before I get jumped on Sharm is sandwiched in a tiny area that says ok to travel but there are other areas close by that advice against all but essential travel. Whilst I appreciate my opinion doesn't help the tourism recover it's not somewhere I feel happy to travel to. Thats just me but worth reading the FCO advice and take what you can from it. Besides the possibility of upset stomach and baking heat in August.

We’ve been AI to Hugharda 3 times and have had no issues with tummy’s.

Bottled water to brush teeth and stay away from salads and other foods that can be washed and you will be fine.

Our daughter stayed in another resort in the red sea and got the trots, but then two years later she was in Sharm El Sheikh for 6 weeks to do her Dive Master Course and she didn't have a problem.

As Johnnyp said use bottle water for cleaning your teeth and stay away from the salads.

Hope you have a lovely holiday where ever you go

Melvin and Lesley

Thank you! Would really like to be going to WDW but unfortunately it isn't possible this year!

What about Marrakesh? Love holidays and on the beach have some amazing deals there and they have great weather.
