Package or separate flights?

Hi all,

What do people find best to do, package holiday or booking everything separate?

I like the idea of flying Newcastle to Dublin then onto Orlando but no company offers that as part of package.

We arent looking to stay onsite either so dont know how much hotel would be.

Thanks for any help.

It depends if you want a standard e.g. flight, hotel/villa and car or a more flexible holiday.

We do DIY as we stay in different places during the holiday (condo, universal hotel, perhaps beach hotel). With experience you can get some good prices through DIY but you don’t get the ATOL cover.

We have booked through BA this year as a flight and hotel combo. They have us flying Aer Lingus on the way out ( Man - Dub - MCO) and AA on the way back so it may be possible to go from Newcastle as well.

Have just checked for you and BA bring it up as one of the flight options if you were travelling on 20th August this year ( our travel date). If you add a hotel it then becomes a 'package' with more protection and the option to just pay a deposit

Whichever option is the best deal My upcoming trip is a flight and hotel package through BA, last years was whole package through Disney as I couldn’t get anything close to matching. Previously, I’ve booked flights and accomodation separately. With BA you can find flights and add on a hotel as per above post, I’m sure other airlines do the same ?

Can you just add one night in a hotel to make up it a package with BA.
