London recommendations?

Hey, any London foodie Dibbers,

I'm going to London for a few days in a couple of weeks. Any recommendations for lunch and dinner food places that I should definitely check out/review whilst I'm there but which won't make me clutch my Northern chest at prices?

I'll be staying in the Westminster area.

I've not been to London in years! Thanks!

Both

Try Cafe in the Crypt, St Martins in the field Trafalgar Square

Quirky place, great location, and will not break the Bank. On balance probably a lunch place.

Look on trip advisor at the pics. Enjoy london

thened/restaurants

My favorite place to go in London, not horrendously priced and honestly when you walk in it feels like you’re walking in to a film. I have eaten recently in both Cecconis and Millie’s and love them both. Even if you don’t eat I’d recommend popping in for an evening drink as they have a pianist and singer usually.

Not exactly Westminster but we had a good lunch at Bodean's Soho just off Oxford street on Saturday.

Bodeans is a must! Sign up to their loyalty group for good freebies x
For a quick fast food there’s shake shack in Covent Garden
If the weather is nice head to Harrods food hall. You can get amazing food at reasonable prices (by southern standards anyway... ) and take it to the one of the parks for a picnic

We enjoy afternoon tea at Rabot 1745 which is owned by Hotel Chocolate and we normally get a table on the balcony overlooking Borough Market.

Second this. Used to stay in the area often for work and went here multiple times.

I love shake shack for fast food. The maple leaf is good; it's a Canadian inspired bar/restaurant. Their poutine is very good.
