How are people getting through to BA to check this!
I have tried at various times over the last 2 days and always end up with an automated message saying they are taking more calls than usual right now and the can't take my call so try again later.

They will be inundated with calls at the moment about the potential strikes both at Heathrow and the pilots strikes I bet, so I think they will be very very busy - I find ringing the second the lines are open usually is the quickest way to get through

Jut spotted this after posting on the other Avis threads. Have a Ford Escape (F) booked but want the Ford Edge (W). When I booked the flights and car via BA the Edge was around £70 more than the Escape for some reason so I thought I would save some cash. Just looked using this link and the Edge is actually £16.94 cheaper than the Escape now so I will call first thing in the morning when the lines are back open to see if I can change. Presume there will be the £25 admin fee? Should mean £8.06 extra all in? Presume this way you keep the same booking number too?

Ask them to quote you are a group S (standard), Z (Full Size) and L (premium) so you can make an informed cost effective decision.

the prices via the link are indicative, but trend is that its sometimes more of a saving than is displayed.

Phoned this morning and managed to change from the Ford Escape to the Ford Edge and received a £5 refund. Can’t complain at that.

I must've git a decent deal at time of booking, paid £345 for ford escape or similar for 2 weeks, now when I look it's about £100 more expensive
