Mobile Help - August Bank Holiday Itinerary

Hi. We are staying at Newport Bay with half board plus for 3 nights across August Bank Holiday with 2 x 5/6 year old boys. Can anyone give me a rough guideline of what they would do over the 4 days so I can plan the restaurants please! I have no clue where to start and need to book them tomorrow

If Disneyland Park is closing late, eg 11pm, and the parade is in its typical 5:30 slot, then I’d either book main meals around 2-3pm, or 7pm, depending on whether you’re planning to stay in the park to see Illuminations.

When we went with my just turned 5 year old, the earlier meal time suited us better - we’d have a big buffet breakfast in the hotel and be full until the early afternoon. We’d have another buffet meal around 2-3pm, then grab a small snack after the parade, around 6pm. Most evenings, we were back in the room by 8pm with two exhausted girls. On one day, we had a snack around lunchtime, went back to the room for the girls to have a nap, then had a hotel buffet at 6pm (had already seen the parade repeatedly, so weren’t worried about that). We then went back into the park for a few evening rides, and to watch the fireworks at closing.

The following year, the girls were more able to keep going until late, so we did some early afternoon meals and tea time snacks, and some midday snacks followed by a main meal after the parade, then back onto rides until closing.

We prefer to have a main meal at lunchtime so hit the parks for the morning and then leave for a meal as it's getting busy. We then went back later after a rest at our hotel. We tend to do at least 2 days at Disneyland Park and 1 at Studios Park. A full day is a lot for young children especially when it's hot in August.
