Mobile Virgin upper deck or lower for economy?

I cannot believe how much virgin charge to reserve seats!

Question is... is upper deck or lower deck the way to go for economy seats?x

Depends on what you want and do you want to pay the extra? . I've sat in the bubble and hate it . We are downstairs this time , just better for us. You will get mixed answers as the bubble is like marmite.

We were upstairs economy - extra leg room seats - although we didn't pay any extra - when we few back 2 Xmas's ago.

We were "delayed" for 5hrs - sitting on the plane waiting for a part to be delivered!

Our stewardesses were fab - gave us drinks and snacks and we had a great time.

There was nearly a riot downstairs though - and the captain had to go down on 2 occasions----- there was a group of about 50 "travellers" (being polite) who had also been on the outbound flight who were creating merry hell and we over heard one crew say it was the worst behaviour she had ever seen

I think if we could it would be upstairs for us - just a bit quieter as there are less people. Yes you will always get the noisy crowd but the less people there are the less chance you have.

Depends on how many is travelling.
Since it's just me & hubby,it would always be downstairs,at the back in the rows of 2.
I'm one of these unsociable people,on flights & really don't like to be sitting, next to strangers
It really is personal preference

We like it upstairs. We're family of 4 so usually book the window exit row seat for DH and the row behind for me and the children. Works well for us. Just find it quieter up there with better service and love the extra storage space of the shelf/cubby hole by the window seats.

I really like the 'dibbers row' (back row of upstairs)
It has the feel of a small airliner up there, you are totally unaware of the hundreds of people beneath you. You can recline guilt-free as nobody is behind you

Ha! Me too.
We have those seats booked for our next flight.
Don't even care of it takes longer to get off the plane. Just love having a row of two to ourselves.
