Midsize SUV question (Alamo Brits)
We are travelling in August & are trying to organise our car hire for 4 adults & 1 baby in a car seat. Due to probably taking 5 medium-large size suitcases & a buggy we are wondering if the rear seats in a midsize SUV would be comfortable enough to squeeze in a car seat with 2 adults & would the boot be big enough to hold this number of bags etc?. On Alamo they class their Midsize SUV as a Toyota RAV4 or similar so if anyone has had one of these, do you think it would be big enough?

When I last looked the Standard SUV on Alamo/Brits was cheaper than an Intermediate one. The Dodge Journey would be big enough as it has 7 seats one of the back ones would be folded for your baggage.
Make sure you get the correct size, the code on the key fob should read SFAR.

I think you may struggle with a mid size/intermediate SUV with 4 adults and a small child... it is doable but it would be a squeeze!
We had Chevrolet Captiva as mid size suv... nice for us as a couple but not overly big!

Thanks, they are showing the Midsize SUV for £289 & the standard SUV for £351 so I'm confused about which is bigger but I know which price we'd prefer The Dodge is slightly more however we would rather go for an SUV if they'd be big enough.

Ah ok thanks, when I say 4 adults, it's really 2 adults, an 18 yr old & 15 yr old but they are almost adult size I think we need a car big enough so the two of them don't end up with bruised hips from being wedged in against a car seat

child seats are qiute bulky I would go for a 7 seater the older kids will love you for it.
They will be a bit crammed otherwise and you dont want them getting moody and argueing over who is stuck in the middle
