Water Parks in the summer? end of June/early July

Any tips on choosing good day to go and dealing with summer crowds in water parks? TL and BB in particular. We have not visited either of them since 2013. Any new rides

Any tips at all. If you have been during this time of the year, what was your experience, what did you like/dislike, and food reviews

We always stick to going Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Seems quieter then as I think the locals tend to go at weekends.

Not sure about rides as I tend to let the kids do them lol.

Miss Adventure falls in TL was very good (only just opened)...family raft ride... very well done... only shame about the place is that they have shut the Shark Reef... not sure why?

I read about Disney testing some form of fast pass this summer. Any info on that?

I can see us spending a lot of time in the water parks and evenings in the theme parks for meal & fp+.

We went in June and visited on Mondays. Ususallly arrived for 10:30 - it opened at 10. We found sun beds easily and waited around 10-15 mins max for each slide. Most were more like 5mins until it got to 12. We tended to leave at 2ish and felt we had got a lot done in that time.
