No need to get a fp to get in to see the festival of the lion king. If you want better seats nearer the front then I would suggest it as fp get in first then standby guests

We fast passed it a few weeks a go, it means you get in early and choose which area you prefer. It's your choice if you prefare to wait a little bit longer to get in out of the sun. We went end of August and it was 33 degrees.

If you Fastpass you'll be sat on the first 4 rows of the Warthog section. We weren't allowed to choose other sections.

I think it also depends on what time of the year it is and which show you want to watch. I've seen some standby people not get into the show before at high crowd level times at show times like noon, while FP people could still wander in 5 minutes before the show.

But there generally shouldn't really be a need to FP it as long as you turn up early enough!

We did FP today and was glad we did. Sweltering hot, long standby lines and we just walked in and chose where we wanted to sit a good 10 minutes before everyone else. Our first FP on this show but we would do it again.

We didn't fast pass it at the end of August, just got there about 15 minutes early. There was a whole section kept empty which was slowly filled up with late arrivals/stragglers so even if you don't get there early you should still get in.

Although if you have a spare fast pass you might as well so you get in first and can have a sit down out of the sun.

Don't waste a fp on it, we made that mistake thinking we'd get preferred seating and instead we were shepherded to the back and entered at exactly the same time as everyone else but through a different door. We were then shifted from side to side in the seats while they tried to accommodate everyone that turned up late. We ended up with a terrible view and ds8 couldn't see
