Alamo Sanford/mco
Hi- this year we are flying into MCO for the first time (have flown to SFB or MIA every year recently), and hav booked our car hire with alamo Brits (like all good DiBBers).
What is the alamo desk at MCO like? We found the Alamo desk at Miami the worst experience ever (2 hour queue) and am keen to avoid if it's going too be anything like that... We arrive 23rd August so after the massive summer rush has ended, but still could be hideous.

I also found miami a nightmare, not so with MCO... It's pretty organised and swift. You should be fine 🍀

We arrived back last week and used Alamo for our car hire. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade (answered No) and is I wanted to hire a sat nav ( I answere no as I had one already) and that was it, no hard sell. I then proceeded to the garage, found the full size row and had a choice of a pick up, several full size cars and a few MVP's. Ended up driving out of the garage with a nice Chrysler Town and Country MPV with a DVD player, sattelite radio, leather seats etc. only average 16 to the gallon until our run to Busch Gardens when it increase to 20mpg but all in all a very nice drive and plenty of room for our luggage etc.
Just say no to all they offer you (except the prepaid tank of fuel, if you want it, which I took and was charged what most of the garages were charging to fill up) and you will be fine
