Buzzing!

This news has got me absolutely buzzing! we have said that after our trip in December we wont be back for another 5-10 years. I have a feeling that with this plus other projects in the next couple years we will be back sooner rather than later!

Currently, Universal sell a 2-Park ticket for just US and IOA plus a separate 3-Park ticket which adds access to WnW. Therefore, as they already separate out their existing waterpark in their tickets, I suspect the same will be true when Volcano Bay is completed.

Now, whether they'll have a 4-Park ticket (US, IOA, WnW and VB) or just keep with a 3-Park ticket (replacing WnW with VB) is the next question.

Wonder if this means the end for W&W.
I certainly think WnW might be in trouble. I don't know whether Volcano Bay is designed to be a replacement for WnW or work alongside WnW. Certainly I can see Universal wanting to promote it's brand new waterpark, to the detriment of the old WnW waterpark.

Perhaps, like the Hogwarts Express, they can have a watertube slide that goes from one waterpark to the other over I-4?

I was at the media event yesterday at Universal and they invited questions from the floor. So I asked if this was the kiss of death for Wet N Wild.

They looked a bit concerned by the question and gave the answer that they won't be talking about that today but rest assured Wet N Wild tickets will be available for 2016 but will not discuss future plans at this point.

This tells me that they have other plans for that park.

The DIBB - the purveyor of doom and gloom since 2002.

Ooher. Interesting...

Of course, those plans could just entail completely knocking down Wet'n'Wild and selling the land. Hopefully, it'll be something more exciting and imaginative though.
