If you stay at the Doubletree can you walk to Aquatica as well as to Seaworld?

You can. It is about the same 18-20 minute walk.

Thanks for this great write up.

Looks more fun when there aren't 1000s of people queuing though.

Question

Staying at Vista Cay so I think we are quite close... I guess we could spend the odd morning or afternoon here... ( that's what's in our planner)
On last visit , loved typhoon lagoon, not so much Blizzard beach or Wet and Wild, did not visit Aquatica as was under construction.

Thanks for your report !

Question ... ?
Can you buy the buffet package/ cabana on the gate ... Would not want to prebook in case of inclement weather

You can buy them on the door, we didn't have the dining there we just went to the market shop and bought sandwich platters ( 8 sandwiches and 4 large bags of crisps for $30 ), but we decided in a cabana when we got there, the cheapest ones had gone, we got one in smax's report at back of roa's Rapids and was lovely... you get 12 bottles of water in your fridge do didn't need to buy anymore drinks.
