I add leeks in mine, chop finely and fry in a little butter, use a fish pie mix, defrost and toss in seasoned flour, add to leeks and cook through. Add milk to make sauce, add frozen peas and defrosted prawns, add a little double cream. Top with either, mashed potatoes, or puff pastry or buttered and scrunched up filo pastry... would love it in cheese sauce but as DH is not a fan of melted cheese so I usually add grated cheese to the top of mash on my portion...

We like sweetcorn & peas in ours, but we also add leeks, and use cod, smoked haddock and king prawns
