Hi all,

Just having a read of some trip reports but cannot view any of the pics that have been added using photobucket? Says 3rd party hosting has been disabled?

Any ideas if there is any fix I can do or is it beyond anything I can do?

You need to pay to carry on useing photo bucket . You could try another hosting site or if it�s for trip report then use the Dibbs own.

There was an issue with Photobucket as they introduced a (ridiculously high) charge to use them so it messed up quite a lot of accounts. Some people have gone through and re uploaded the photos directly through the dibb but obviously this takes a lot of time so not everyone has done it.

Ah, the curse of Photobucket! Yes, they suddenly decided if you wanted to carry on posting photos to other sites, you'd have to pay about $400 for the privilege. Needless to say, most people didn't.

It took me a long time to download all my photos from there and upload them to my trip reports on here. Not everyone has the patience!

I simply want to read some trip reports (and look at pics), so what do I need to do?

It�s the person who has uploaded the photos that has the issue, not your side. If they don�t pay for them to be hosted then you (or anyone else) will be unable to access them.

That's fair enough, it was kind of them to post in the first place let alone keep paying.
