Has anyone watched series 1 of here and now is it good and is it worth watching ?

Huge fan of everything Alan Ball, love everything he's written and produced. American Beauty, Six Feet Under, Banshee, True Blood, absolutely brilliant. The reviews for Here And Now didn"t put me off, Rotten Tomatoes really negative. Started great, went downhill after five minutes, a cringefest of slow, boring social justice type rants, and rambling assorted cliche arguments, and scenes, with no real plot. Just awful. |

Persevered with it, as I wanted answers, but having just watched the final episode, am none the wiser. Very frustrating.
