Six Nights At The Waldorf Astoria, New York - Day 0.

Hello and welcome to my NYC trip report.

After reading lots of trip reports here on the Dibb and picking up lots of tips I thought it would be good idea to try write one of my own.

The cast of this trip are, me, my Mum, and my eight year old son Alfie.

We travelled with BA on indirect flights, Manchester to Heathrow and Heathrow to JFK airport. I booked to stay at the Waldorf Astoria as this is somewhere I'd always wanted to stay if I got the chance to visit New York. We departed the UK on 16th December 2016 and arrived back home on 23rd December.

We caught the train from our local station to the airport

We caught a taxi from outside the station to the Premier Inn on Runger Lane as this is where we were spending the night.
We took our luggage to the room before eating in the Thyme restaurant. I had the garden burger, Mum had gammon and egg and Alfie ate from the children's menu. Service was slow even though it wasn't very busy and food was just average.

We made our way back to the room and settled down for the night 💤💤
