I totally agree with you on this.

I can give Universal their due when it comes to rides but Disney has it on the shows, and of course the magic of the characters. The parade, and especially the nighttime parade was a massive part of that.

Because if Disney thought that more parades at WDW would attract more guests (and thus more money) to WDW then they would not have removed several parades over the last few years and/or would have announced some new ones coming in the near future. Instead, they announced rides, lands, and hotels coming to WDW. I think the only parade announcement was for DLC?

Also, Disney do perform various surveys in the parks and resorts from time to time, asking guests about their preferences. We did one last time we visited (it was very short and very much focused on New Fantasyland). So I'm guessing they will know from those surveys.

I'm not saying guests to WDW don't like parades - clearly they do. It's just that Disney think that their money would be better spent on new rides and new lands in order to attract and please more guests. They perceive parades as a lower priority at the moment.

There is no night parade at mk anymore. Just a 2pm one.

I never saw Spectro, but the MSEP was so special; I remember my children's faces seeing it - they (and I) thought it was just purely magical! So sad they've discontinued and not replaced it

The decline in the number of parades around the various MK parks saddens me, they were a great part of our previous trips, with lots of happy memories

I still think there will be a night time parade at MK before there 50th anniversary in 2021.

it could get announced at the next D23 in two years. I think everyone was surprised that they didn't' announce a new night time parade at D23

I didnt even know it had stopped until now, sure we went to one last time 2015.
