Shoes to the parks

flip flops , cheapo from sports direct or karrimor walking sandals for me

erring towards flip flops all the time now, just wearing a new pair in..

I've always been a fan of Merrell sandals and go walk trainers. However, for our April trip I bought a pair of skechers on the go sandals and they were amazing! Beat everything else I've worn before by a mile! So comfortable and no aching feet or legs at all. They do flip flops in the same range too (same sole etc), but I don't get on with toe posts for long periods of walking, and the fabric of mule style one rubbed the top of my foot, so I went for the sandals. They're like a dream! If you fancy trying them, Amazon do them with free delivery and returns, so if they're not right for you, then you haven't lost anything

In the water parks we always wear aqua socks, some rides you have to take them off and hold them, but they are small, light and stop the pavement burning your feet

Skechers go walk trainers or sanuk sandals that have a yoga mat base. I have worn them solidly for the past 4 trips

Thanks for this Dansgirl never knew such things exsisted. Not big water park people but I've been burned on sand before so want to be prepared!

Nike run free trainers, I live in them here and didn't get any blisters or achy feet whilst wearing them all day in the parks, whereas I tried wearing go walks for a day and my feel
