Well I don’t understand why there needs to be a separate menu for people over 55. Maybe when I’m over 55 I’ll understand but for now I don’t. What is the difference between someone who is 40 and 55?
Do people eat different things when they are over 55? I still think it’s being ageist. |

But isn’t that the same for all ages. The majority of people in the UK consume more sugar/salt/fat than they are aware of as a lot of it is hidden in processed foods. This is regardless of age. Is 55 considered senior? If so, why do I have to work until I’m 68? 🤔😬
My father in law is over 60 and would eat (and drink I might add) significantly more than I would and I’m 39. Which is why I suggested in my earlier post that maybe it could have been worded differently. Anyway... regardless.. if there was one near me I wouldn’t be boycotting it based on the fact I don’t like the wording of its menu.. those pancakes full of fat, sugar and salt look delicious! 😂 |

You will still be able to order off the over 55 I reckon. My local Eating Inn do this, call it silver years or something now. Its a way of attracting in 'seniors', who are often more frugal, and attempting to put non seniors off ordering the cheaper meals.

I don't understand the problem with the +55 menu, no-one if forcing you to eat from it if you object, and yes l am one of those who has a smaller appetite and is over 55.
