August 2019 flight prices
I need a bit of advice. We normally fly in May/October and i know roughly what prices are and what im willing to pay.
Next year we are looking to go around mid August for 3 weeks, the thing is, i don't have a clue what prices are like for that time of year so don't have any idea on whats a good price or not. (It's just flights im looking for.) |

It will depend when you return in September - if around the 1st/2nd prices will be high - the further your return into September the cheaper it will become.
You may pay more for the flight out though as mid August fro 2 weeks is a popular time for Brits as some US schools are back so alot target these 2 weeks before starting back to school first week i September.

I'm budgeting £1000 per person for August return direct flights although I'm hoping (and fairly confident) I can book them for closer to £850. As Robsie said, prices will come down a lot depending how far into September your return flight is.

I have booked for both direct and indirect for this August for out party. paid £601 direct with BA LGW-TPA returning 2nd sept. and £500 with united LHR-EWR-TPA returning 1st September. for everyday you move into September it seemed to get a bit cheaper.
a lot of dibbers got great fly drive deals to Miami with BA for this august |

I am hoping to return in August 2019 too! I have following flights and have done a couple of dummy bookings for this August to get an idea. So far (if I recall correctly! ) when I checked around dec/jan time direct flights from London Gatwick to Miami were around the £428 mark! I have been looking today and Netflights have direct flights with BA to Fort Lauderdale for £498pp which I thought was reasonable too! Not sure if you have flexibility regrading the airport you fly into but Miami and Fort Lauderdale have been much cheaper than Tampa or Orlando for the dates I checked in August. Have been looking for 3 adults 1 teen 1 12 year old and 1 10 year old last 2 weeks August (20/8 -3/9). Hope that helps!

We'll be looking for flights too. Probably about 15-29th and into Orlando.
