A customer said they didn't have enough sockets (they only had 2) and asked me to install some more.

I thought they would be delighted when they came home and saw the extra sockets I installed, and all they did was to complain there are now too many. I despair that you just can't please some people!

It's a good question because when I presented them with the £1,500 bill for the additional sockets they weren't happy, but eventually paid it after I made threats of taking them to court. So now I'm in two minds whether to knock on their door for a Christmas tip?
