Amazing you must be so proud 🤩.

I'm bad enough when my dd drives anywhere, I can't imagine how I'd be if she was flying! 😮

Does he want to fly for a career?
Hi yes he does indeed. He’s been flying since 15, needed to be 16 to fly solo and needs to be 17 to get his pilots licence. He’s a couple of months delayed because planes were grounded for covid but is catching up fast. He lives and breathes planes. Really wants to go commercial and works every weekend and most of the holiday so far at the local flying school. We have an airport a couple of miles from us.

Can’t imagine how nervous ( and now proud ) you must feel.
Well done to your son.
DDs best friend is a pilot, she was the first of DDs friends to pass her driving test and I used to worry when they were out in the car together would never of imagined she would be flying a plane 5 years later.
Sadly for now COVID has put a halt to her career but hopefully for all these young people the results of their hard work will soon be needed again.

Just a little update.
The flying boy has passed his penultimate exam this week, the last of the written hurdles.

The final Assessment , known as a skills test, is booked now for end of Feb. He’s just 17.
I might manage dry January but February will definitely need alcohol! 🤦🏻
Thank you for all the kind words on here. Keep you posted!
