Love the Contemporary. I can still remember the double wow, first time walking into the room, then for a second time when you see the view.

The window looks smaller - have the blocked some of the glass off or is it just the way it looks?

Enjoy your stay. Looking forward to the rest of your trip.

We headed into MK after calling back at the front desk to try and resolve a couple of magic band issues. We picked a bad times for the first park visit - 10am on a Monday is not a good time to activate annual passes. It was much quieter when we walked in today.

We did a few rides then stopped for our lunch at

I had a beer and P a Fess Parker Reisling.

French Dip

Turkey Club

It was a nice break from the crowds once we got seated - they were a good 25 mins behind schedule. Good food and great service though.

Thanks! I think the window is the same size (4 panes wide) but that false arch they’ve put in tricks you into thinking it’s smaller.

Would P mind me asking about the Fess Parker Riesling? I mean, was it nice, did it remind her of any other bottles?

Backstory - my dad is a big wine fan and collects the stuff (strange if you ask me) but also likes to drink it, and Riesling is the one he is always evangelical about how under rated it is …. If it’s nice I would try and find a way to get a bottle. He would like the MK connection

P said it’s slightly drier than the average Riesling and we find that better than the sweeter German versions. It’s a very pleasant wine, so nice we had a bottle with dinner at ‘71 last night - I found these tasting notes online and I think they’re spot on.

Any more questions please ask away and if we see a bottle on our travels around the liquor stores I’ll grab one and do my best to get it home in one piece for you.

What a great start to your trip.

Love your contemporary room BA and that view, the stuff of dreams. We’d love to stay there again.
