Those boats won't go very far if the ride's closed down.

Part of the experience of a theme park is waiting in the queue, snaking your way to the loading area, and experiencing it with others. It wouldn't be the same if you just walked onto a ride with no one else around. That would be more like Gulliver's World during the low season <shudder>.

I tried to get in that night as it was supposed to be a HHN, but Microsoft had a big conference on that day and they bought the whole of Universal Studios for the night.

I have add that If IASW was shut for the duration or my visit to Disney parks for every trip past and future I would be fine with it in fact more than fine

I was on Jingle cruise yesterday and there was a family go out on their own in a boat. They looked swanky. He had a Paris St Germain shirt on but I don't know who he is

Getting Excited

I was in IOA on the soft opening when there were a lot of celebs there. Some celebs queued with the rest of us, some used to completely close the rides down.
Eddie Murphy was the worse. Closed down Jurassic Park having 2 boats in front and behind empty, him and his entourage were pushing people out of the way walking through the park, got given ponchos to go onto JP and then when they got off the ride just took them off and chucked them on the floor. A lot of other celebs were happy enough to take photos with fans and mingle with the common people. Patrick Swayze was in with a friend, theres a video on youtube of Spielberg walking around that day with management. Money talks and some people think they're more important then they are or make a fuss to make themselves important (the Kardashian family being the no1)

I got interviewed by newsround that day which was shown in the UK so I was a minor celeb back in school when people saw me.
