Arriving in Orlando post 6/12 changes

Arrived today from Edinburgh via Heathrow with BA in Club.
The evening before we took our pre flight lfts with ExpressTest at Edinburgh airport. These were walk through at Departures. It took us a while to find them as they are not in departures at all, but in tents in the Fast Park area. A bit of a victim of their own success, we had booked appointments at 1800. However we had to queue outside, in the freezing cold for 40 minutes. However, tests were done efficiently and results received within 90 minutes to our mobiles.

Flights were good, on time and nice food offered (I managed to have three breakfasts - lounge at EDI, flight Edi-LHR and lounge at LHR).

I’m a recently diagnosed diabetic and had ordered the diabetic option on all flights. The breakfast on board EDI-LHR was pretty terrible, a tofu and red pepper wrap, not great. However, the lunch and afternoon tea offerings were excellent, the cod, ratatouille and pea purée were really nice.

When we were within about 20 mins to landing, seatbelts on and luggage stowed, they suddenly announced that we would need hard copies of the Attestation forms, and screenshots of all relevant vaccination and test results. This caused quite a flurry as most had them on VeriFLY, which apparently wasn’t good enough for immigration. Luckily I had printed these out and signed them, and the documents were all in my iCloud files on my phone. They also insisted we fill in a customs form. I grumbled noisily that we hadn’t had to do these for ages.
Surprise, surprise, no one at immigration asked for any of this at all. I’m amazed that BA can get it so wrong.

However, all good in the end, now off to book Cirque for next week.

Virgin told us that immigration would want our docs.
However immigration said that only a passport was required as they could see lots were sorting out documents

Glad you had a great flight. We had tests booked with Express Test at Edinburgh but couldn't amend the date now they're not replying to emails. Will be applying for refund.
Have a great trip.

BA told us to have everything ready and we needed to fill out the customs forms and as soon as we got to immigration they told us to put it all away 🙄

The evening before we flew to Paris last month, we had an urgent email from BA saying that every single person, vaccinated or not, would be tested upon arrival in CDG! Well that was my evening ruined at the thought of it. Of course total nonsense.

Bottom line nobody is sure yet what’s needed where
We went to Antigua everything checked at Glasgow then on arrival in Antigua they wanted hard copies of everything which we had
Leaving Antigua for Florida again hard copies were the way to go dodgy WiFi didn’t help
Arriving in Miami just passport
Leaving MCO hard copies of everything, then again on the connect in Chicago hard copies of everything Heathrow just passport if a uk passport everyone else the whole 9 yards
With every change it’s going to be more confusion to
Be honest
