2 parties or 1 party?
Hi all,
Coming close to time to book our flights with VA. Flying from Manchester on 26/04/2020 and returning 14/05/2020 (through the night so landing 15/05/2020). In the party are 3 able bodied adults, 1 in wheelchair, and 1 4 year old. It is MIL (wheelchair), FIL (husband/carer), Wife, daughter and me. We will have 6 cases between us (1 each + 1 extra between FIL and MIL). I read that with special assistance it is one family name only to travel through this queue. Therefore, would it be better for FIL and MIL to book flights (and assistance) seperately? We will have 2 hire cars for flexibility. FIL can pull 2 cases if special assistance person pushes the wheelchair - leaving us with 4 cases and 4 year old. Is this doable with the bag drop thing? Planning on all meeting in the car hire - is this likely to work out? Or should we be planning on meeting elsewhere? Sorry for all questions... just thought it best to put everything down that's concerning me. |

You can book all the flights together. The bit that is one family only is going through immigration. So they will probably get through immigration before you when we do this we collect everyone's cases and wait for them to come through. The best alternative I think would be to meet after getting off the monorail as the lift is in a different spot to the elevator.
