DH playing with food

I am sure there is a “what’s for dinner thread” somewhere but I couldn’t find it, so I thought I would post up DH’s creation for tonight.

We were going to do a chicken roast yesterday but decided to support the local pub and buy theirs instead so tonight he has prepared beer can chicken. What are you having?

Love cheesy trump hamming it up.

Claudette, would be interested in how it works out, I've seen It on a few cheffy type programmes bit never gone for it. Looks good.

Here the food thread.

The beer can chicken would be a very worthy addition. Certainly better than my offering tonight of a cheese sandwich. 😂

Well it comes out at 8:10pm so all being well I will post a pic of the finished product. It is our first time doing beer can chicken too.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out also, I often see Carey Hart cooking this (because I stalk him and his wife) so have wondered.

We just had beef keema risotto, followed by white chocolate and brazil nut cookies as I didn't have any macadamia nuts!

When I saw the first thing I thought of was Monica in friends with the turkey on the head.

It smells delicious so far and we are nearly fifty minutes away. It’s a bit dark in there but it looks good so far.
