Mobile Not going to Mickeys not so scary Halloween

We are off to Orlando on the 15th October and I have been debating with my husband to go or not to go to mnsshp. We have spent a lot of money already on our Disney tickets and just can’t face spending just over £300 for one night... do you think we would be missing out if we didn’t go? Does anyone know what time we are asked to leave if we didn’t have Halloween tickets? Thanks

No if you've bought 2 week passes anyway, spending all that extra is too much in my opinion. It's also very busy nowadays.

The park 'closes' to non-MNSSHP guests at 7pm. If you attend the party you get a wrist-band, those without wrist-bands can't enter a ride after 7pm and once you walk back to the main hub and main street you won't be able to back into any of the lands.

We've been to MNSSHP a number of times and have always dressed up - just me and DW, both over 40 when we went to our first party

It is quite expensive, although if you've only got a 5 day Disney pass then it is a good way to get an extra day as you can enter the park from 4pm. There is a special parade and fireworks, plus lots of opportunities for photos. The queues for the rides will also be relatively small and you can get a lot of candy. It is probably not great value for money, especially if you've already got a 'length of stay' Disney pass. However any trip to the theme parks in Orlando is difficult to class as 'value for money'. You are paying for the experience and if you can afford it without worrying about the cost, then I'd recommend it.

Awww I love it and am going again this year. Tickets are roughly 85 pound if you don’t visit on a weekend. It’s good to get on the rides with minimal queuing and the parade and villain show is AMAZING! I’d pay just to see The Sanderson Sisters Hocus Pocus part 😂. The queues for character photos are always immense though so I wouldn’t waste time queuing for photos unless you’re desperate for them xx

I have often wondered if you can stay on Main Street with your normal park tickets and stay for the fireworks. I know that this is a long wait but just curious!

No the fireworks & parade are part of the party so you will be asked/escorted to leave/out the park. I've heard that they are upping their vigilance this year as it was widely rumoured that last year people were hiding in the toilets, during the sweeping of the park, & then emerging & staying for the rest of the party.

We went for first time last year because we didn’t have Disney tickets. We loved it. We didn’t bother with characters and just hit the rides. Most walk ons including 7 Dwarfs but that was after 11 pm. I think we ride thunder four times straight.
We got there for 4, used our three fast passes and started collecting candy which was fun. I was actually embarrassed by how much we collected😂. It was also great to see all the costumes. It was a great atmosphere all round and the fireworks were fab.
We have 14 day tickets this year but still buying the Halloween ones again. We were there for first party last year but going 11th October this year, guessing it might be busier. I noticed that parks closing at 6pm on nights of party. I thought it was 7 last year but I may be wrong.

I'm not going. If I didn't already have tickets for Disney then I might consider it but I don't want to pay all that extra money for a few more hours. Plus I'm not good with late nights and wouldn't like to battle the buses back to POFQ after midnight.

We had the same dilemma and decided not to go because it's so expensive. But we've booked california grill for dinner on a party night so we can watch the fireworks from there and they pipe the music in so that you can hear it to

If u didnt already have tickets ad say yep but no with passes already a think its too much to be worth it. Yes the parade and shows are really good and lines short candy was ok but not worth it for an extra night at a park u can already go too for 300 quid. We went last yr as was only nite at disney and was really gd but weather was dismal and only worth it cause it was our only disney day the whole holiday. Ad say personally keep ur cash for something else. dx
