Discovery Cove help
Hello
We’ve never been before and have booked for this trip What time do you recommend you get there for please, and what time do they stay open until before your asked to leave Just trying to plan the day, I’m assuming they give you the swim time when you check in? Thanks June

I think you are best to get there as early as possible. You get breakfast there and lunch. We got there at 7am and had our dolphin swim at 9.30am. It gives you plenty a full day. Snacks and drinks included too.

Park hours are 8am till 5pm, check in begins around 7.30am but i think it can start around 7.15am. You are allocated a time slot for dolphin swim when you check in.

We arrived just after 7am, check in was easy and got the 830 dolphin swim. Breakfast was nice and got ourselves set up on a lounger. It was pretty quiet at this time, so you could easily arrive later.

Breakfast is nice but there's no way I'd queue for it again unless I was there first thing. I'd say we were 45 mins in the line. Felt like a waste of empty pool time. Food later in the day is better imo.

One tip - don’t know if you’ve seen the other thread on here but take your own suncream! The park stuff is terrible and doesn’t protect you.

They very much do not want you bringing in your own suncream. Please see the post above about protecting the marine life.

Actually, they are OK with you bringing in your own suncream if it’s marine friendly. Please read this thread here for more info where it’s been discussed at length:
