My son's currently in his last GCSE English exam. He has 3 more after today, I think ICT, Chemistry and Maths.

Mine still has all of next week plus a couple of exams the following week - I can’t believe how long they are going on for!

Yikes! The pressure that's on these kids is immense.

His English class sat their literature exams in January, so that was a bit less for them this Summer. He's lucky that one of the subjects he chose was coursework only, so that's got rid of a couple of exams for him, too.

That’s handy! I don’t remember having anywhere near as many as this, but then we are going back a long time! He has 7 more after the two today, it’s been a long slog!

Good luck to your DS and everyone else for the rest of their exams x

DS has his last English paper today which he is very happy about. He is on study leave after today and has 7 exams left. They are still running the lessons for the subjects that he still has exams in which is great, although they are optional to go to. Luckily we don’t live far from school so he can just pop down there for those lessons.
I will be so glad when it’s all over, it seems to have dragged on forever.

We will actually be in Florida on A level results day for my daughter, and the following week for GCSE results for my son.

It's the only way we could fit our cancelled 2020 trip in with all 3 kids (eldest is 21).

GCSE results should be absolutely fine for my son to go onto A levels, even if he drops a couple of grades in each subject.

My daughter also needs, I believe BBC, but was predicted A*AA (I think). The A* is already confirmed, the A, as good as, so she can afford to drop to, I think, an E in her Law exam and still get enough points for uni.

I say this now, but am bracing myself for a flurry of expensive phone calls if things don't go well on results day!

DS has gcse Eng Lang p2 today which then leaves 6 more over the next 2 weeks. He was 16 yesterday and had history and physics, both of which went well apparently. Worked out ok with Eng lang today as he couldn’t really revise for it last night so chilled out with pizza, cake and presents 🥳
