Resort fees / hidden costs

Hi Guys

Am due to go in 51 days - so excited (through Tui).

Previously we stayed in the Avanti on International drive (through Thomas Cook) and I seem to remember when we arrived we got stung for some additional "resort fees" that we were not expecting - they weren't anything major, but an unexpected cost none the less.

Was just wondering - we are flying through Tui this time and staying in Loews Pacific and was wondering if we will get such charges again?

Does anybody have an experience of staying at Pacific through Tui and whether they were hit with resort charges?

Many thanks

Haven’t stayed there through TUI but we’ve never had any resort fees when staying there

No resort fees at Universal. Parking is a bit steep/rude but no other charges

If your super polite to your check in agent you may even get the parking for free.. had it happen twice to me now. Not guaranteed but a bit of charm sometimes goes a long way

$25 per night car parking charge so that's $175 for 7 nights, $350 for 14 nights or $525 for 21 nights.

Which is outrageous. If I checked in and they asked me for $350 for car parking I'd say they're having a laugh. Paid enough as it is.
