Be aware when leaving strollers
Read this post recently so just to make sure you are aware
We have seen Guests have items stolen from their strollers in the past, and it seems that this is a trend that is continuing, and something Guests should be aware of. When Guests go on an attraction, they do not have to bring their strollers with them as there is no where to put it on the ride. Instead, there are tons of spaces at all of the Disney Parks to park the stroller. Cast Members are often around this area, but it is encouraged that you take your things with you on the ride, or put them in a locker to avoid anything being taken

this is such a shame. When we went to Japan, it was common in foodhalls to leave your belongings at a table whilst you went to order, phones, wallets, handbags etc just out on the table.
We handed (well, we got our daughter to as we were embarrased to... ) a mobile phone back to someone as we thought they had forgotten it, the person giggled and explained in good english, she also gave my daughter a little gatcha. This was on our first day so we knew no different. |

We were surprised when we went to Disney years ago the stuff people left in strollers in full view, IPads, handbags etc .
People are very trusting, but at the end of the day a thief is a thief even in the ‘happiest ‘ place on earth. |

There were a few buggies stolen when we were there in 2012, I got a bike lock and fastened ours up whenever we left it, wouldn't dream of leaving anything valuable with it.

On our first visit in 93 we were sitting on a bench in Tomorrowland . A man sitting near us asked if we’d keep an eye on his video camera whilst he went to the restroom. In those days video cameras were big bulky things and hellish expensive . We couldn’t believe he would leave such a thing with a complete stranger

Been happening for years, there was even one a few years ago that was stealing strollers (expensive ones) & then selling them on ebay etc. Then of course theirs the Grifters in the car parks, cars at Florida Mall getting broken in to, everyone thinks that because it's Disney it's some form of Utopia! Google how many paedo's have been arrested in MK, you'd be shocked!

I have heard of people smearing a nappy with chocolate spread and leaving it on top of their stroller to discourage thieves…
Might encourage wasps though!

Our stroller was swapped for the same stroller but it was dirtier and had a wonky wheel - couldn’t believe it. We had left a bag on it with no valuables and the bag was attached to the replacement stroller so it wasn’t a case that we took the wrong one. It was a red McClaren umbrella one that was popular in the 2000’s. We had it with us that year as a “just in case” and used it more for the bag than for DS.
Would never have left valuables on ours - you are just asking for trouble - Disney is no different to anywhere else - don’t know why people think it should be.. |

I read recently on a FB group of someone who left two margaritas in the cup holders on their stroller while they went on a ride at Epcot - and when they got back someone had drunk them!
