The crux of the question is whether or not Johnny Depp was indeed a physical abuser of Amber Heard. He says, she says and the jury needs to decide whether that accurately describes him or not, and then whether the injured party deserves money from the other and how much.

Thus far I don’t think that Amber has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he physically abused her. But she will have her turn on the stand to try.

Is more than just her turn though? Reading the uk case seems like there was quite a bit of corroborating evidence. So will be down to the defence to do so. Also he is claiming damages so they also need to disprove that it’s down to the article he lost work etc.

It will be interesting to see what she says on the stand and how they cross examine her. Depp’s team will get the last word, as here in the US the person bringing the suit gets the final argument.

It seems she herself donated about 350 k herself, 500k from Elon and 100k for JD himself. If the 100k were way for JD to get his name in instead of paying her directly, than that's really coming from her payment. There is no issue with that other than she told on interview she donated all money in past tense, vs she intent to donate money equal to that amount over next 10 years. Either way she lied, she didn't give her divorce money - she needed that for herself. At best she intents to give money equal to this amount from other sources, maybe including earnings in the future. That was great publicity trick if it worked long term, not so great look on her like now.

We haven't heard her side yet, but I feel she may end up showing him in worse light but I don't think personally she will be able to show herself in any better.

I wonder how is Elon feeling hearing he is just feeling the space while she is trying to go back to her ex while forking out 500k to help her out. Delighted he escaped bigger trouble?

Love how they keep saying that Depp rearranged Amber's clothes. It sounds like it was more throwing them around the place, it's not like he will come up and decide on different arrangement in the middle of argument.

I think they keep using that word because Depp himself used it, almost as a little joke when describing how he threw her things around.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one thinking this! I believe some of what she’s saying in regards to the verbal abuse and hitting/throwing things but it just seems like a performance to me and not genuine at all! And don’t get me started on the fake crying!

The fake crying gets me…crying for nearly 30 minutes without wiping a tear…again she is doing what the witness done before her…facing the jury..

She had so many chances to leave…but never..even when she reached out to her mum! 🤔
