Can I just thank everyone who has commented on this thread, you lot are so much more knowledgeable than me…but I have found it really interesting…so thank you…😘

It's really difficult to see how they could conclude that she wasn't abused...there is some pretty damning testimony - and especially when abuse isn't nec physical but also emotional etc.

I suppose it might depend on whether the way they went about things was 'normal' for them. In which case is that abusive? What might be considered abusive to one person may not be to another.

I don't envy the jury

I just think sadly AH has done nothing to help her case with what I believe to be widely exaggerated claims. I think she's done damage to DV victims.

I think Depp should win ... $1 damages

And that is why I think she will win. I hope she doesn’t because they are both at fault. Even if he has abused her just once then the op ed is not a lie.
I think they are both as bad as each other it’s just that his public persona is more appealing and he has been in the public eye for so long we think we know him.
