14 day Disney ticket But will be in Orlando for 17 days

Hi,

I am planning a 17 day trip. I will be purchasing a 14 day Disney ticket. I am sure I read somewhere that a 14 day ticket could be used over a longer period of 14 days? ahead anyone had any experience of this? also for example day 1 I went to the Magic Kingdom. But day 2 I never went to a Disney park and day 10 I never went to a park. Can I use my Disney ticket to gain access to a park on for example day 16? As I will not have used the ticket to gain access to a Disney park for 14 different days?

Or do their tickets need to be used in 14 consecutive days?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you for any tips. I am planning on purchasing the tickets directly from Disney.

Claire xx

Perfect. Thank you. I was sure I had read that somewhere. I didn’t realise it was over 18 days which is pretty ideal for my trip!

I will phone Disney and check before I buy anything thank you. I am so sure it’s over 18 days like suggested above. You can never be to careful when making plans. Haha.

"With Disney Magic Tickets, you'll need to choose a specific date for when you'd like your usage window to start. You can use the 7-Day Ticket over 15 days and the 14-Day Ticket over 18 days, giving you more flexibility during your holiday than ever before."

No, the 14 days do not have to be consecutive.

The new 14-day Magic tickets are valid for any 14 days over an 18 day period. That 18 day period begins on the start date that you choose when you purchase the ticket, not when you first enter a park.

Taken from the Disney ticket website (you need to click on the "click here for details" in the smaller font Ts&Cs below where you select the tickets):

"Disney 7-Day Magic Ticket is valid for use up to 15 days from the selected start date of the ticket. Disney 14-Day Magic Ticket is valid for use up to 18 days from the start date of the ticket."

I am glad you asked this as we will have our first park day as a Wednesday, and our last on a Wednesday, two weeks later, with days in between where we won't enter a park!
