Yeah, knew that. Have the vouchers already and reserved my park days.

I just wondered if they were a ticket agent that BA use as I can’t get through to BA regarding genie + which wasn’t a thing when I booked last September

No, BA will be your agent/reseller in this case.

Well with this news, I think we're going to bite the bullet and buy it in advance for when we go in November, we were in 2 minds but because we are going to be there during Thanksgiving imagine it will be busy!

Couple of questions though, we have booked direct through Disney so will we have to pay when we ring to add it to our booking or will it be added to our final balance and also reading that those of you who have it through other companies have to pay the balance by the next week have those of you who got it through Disney been asked to pay the balance early? Thanks

This seems a little unfair as when you paid deposit, the payment date is clearly stated as 8 weeks before and with genie plus

Yes they apologise and say they appreciate it is not ideal but that the decision has come directly from Disney... i suppose if Disney withdraw the product there's nothing they can do... fortunately i was due to pay up in a couple of weeks anyway but for some people it will mean having to find the money a lot sooner than they hoped!

I added Genie+ to my booking this afternoon. Had Booked direct with Disney and called them (only a 25 min wait) and all sorted. Added to my invoice and final balance amount. New invoice received a few minutes later. All very straightforward.

Was in two minds cos the package I had booked included a 14 day ticket, but am only on site 7 nights. Cost to book in advance for 14 days was £97. Cost to book daily for each of my seven days will be $15 + tax per day, so around £88 at current exchange rates - that's if daily price isn't increased. Decided it was worth it to include in overall cost of holiday and avoid setting my alarm for midnight every day to buy daily.

I spoke to WDTC this week about our August trip to which we had already added Genie+ with balance for the package due late June. I was advised I did not need to pay ticket balance early to retain Genie+. Hopefully this is correct!

I would like to do the same, did you just ring the regular number?

If they are busy they offer a call back, it asks for your 10 digit phone number just omit the first 0 from your number. They is what I did and they called back and I sorted everything
