Can anyone confirm correct test for Cruise

Hi all

Been looking at all threads about the correct tests to purchase and its getting a little bit confusing.

Can anyone confirm the correct test to purchase for our Disney cruise.

So this is from the email I got in May and from the website under the covid testing tab bit disneycruise.disney.go/w...e-updates/us/:

Fully vaccinated Guests on sailings departing US and Canadian ports on or after June 7, 2022, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (paid for by the Guest) taken no more than 2 days before setting sail to be exempt from embarkation testing at the terminal. Pre-trip test results must be uploaded into the Safe Passage website by midnight prior to embarkation day. The test must be a rapid antigen test professionally observed by a medical professional or telehealth provider, a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), a rapid PCR test or a lab-based PCR test. Completing pre-trip testing prior to embarkation day enhances the efficiency of boarding and confirms that you are negative for COVID-19 prior to traveling to the terminal.

Yes I'm aware of this but what company are people using and are they getting it delivered to their hotel prior to the cruise

We used Qured for our pre cruise antigen tests, they are video supervised and would be accepted on reading the requirements in previous post.

Fair enough but you asked for the info on the correct test so I supplied it.

In terms of what to use I would look for a video test one from the UK personally and then schedule it for the correct time for the US i.e. if you scheduled at 1pm our time it would be 8am Florida time so doable. This of course would only work if you are planning on taking a wifi device.

Another option would be to use a US pharmacy. I've read a lot about people going to Wallgreens and having tests done there

I�m getting confused by all this.

Can�t we just use a company online in the U.K.? Then upload the certificate to Inspire? I fly Thursday and cruise Friday so if we do a video link Wednesday shouldn�t that meet the criteria?

I used Qured for my Europe NCL cruise last month by video call. So easy and I just took the certificate ( hotel printed it for me) to the Port in Italy.

Ive booked Qured for next months cruise from Miami and will just test in my hotel room two days before ( before I start to drive down to Miami )

We've rescheduled our BreatheAssured fit to fly (now that they're no longer needed to get out there) to a timeslot suitable for the cruise - we'll just take the test kits with us and do the call in the hotel room.

They were very good for our Christmas/NY trip, stayed on the call whilst certs were emailed etc to make sure everything was correct.
