Hotel cancelled

We are supposed to be going down to London tomorrow for three days and booking.com have cancelled our booking the day before we go!

Everything is over 1k or a backpackers dorm.

Not even sure what to do now 😭

Have you tried Travelodge or Premier Inn? You might get lucky with them as they have so many sites.

What about Airbnb?

Or premier inn Southwark have availability but it’s £608, still pricey .. but pretty central.

My son is down in London,ended up in a Airbnb.
So much better value than any hostel or hotel. First one they booked was cancelled but they were given a £99 credit for the inconvenience. Went towards the current accommodation xx

Literally everywhere was booked up, so had to fork out double for a downgraded hotel.

Booking.com offered a dorm style hotel for 300 pound more than I originally paid in ilford.

Struggling to look forward to our trip tomorrow now ☹

Look on the bright side, Ilford is an absolute ****hole, and not that safe to walk around at night so you have probably had a good result all round if you are now in the centre

Annoying I know, but enjoy the trip not the aggravation

We are the same, managed to get tickets for Wimbledon for Saturday, hotel prices are ridiculous. Rolling Stones are also on at Hyde park on Sunday. Looks like we will be coming back on the last train.
