I always find Tuesdays a good time to buy flights as they have always gone down after the weekend when people are searching for holidays. These were £400 more expensive on Sunday!
What dates have you been looking at in the holidays for that price...not seen Virgin below £1200 with bags?

Thanks

£1759 for 2 adults, 1 15yr old- Swiss air to Zurich then on to Orlando. Return with United via Chicago. 14-30 aug.
Do I book?

Edited to say we bit the bullet and booked. Went through trip adviser who then redirected us to last minute.com. Includes 1 checked bag each. We were hoping for closer to £500 each but this was the best price we’ve seen in a while with decent connection times.

Edited at 07:15 AM.

Just booked 4 adults 19 Aug - 4 Sep, £435 each through Lastminute via Kayak
Heathrow to Tampa, out with SwissAir and back with Lufthansa, approx 2 hour layover for each flight. Baggage included.

They have lots of options available leaving on the 19th and coming back between 2nd and 5th Sep (inset days means schools start back on the 7th)

We also booked with Lufthansa indirect Heathrow via Frankfurt -MCO £305 pp back in the Autumn - it’ll be the 2nd time we’ve flown with Lufthansa this route. So pleased as Lufthansa are our preferred airline too!

I’ve finally given up on leaving from Manchester and booked with United Glasgow-Newark-Mco 10-28 Aug today for £2350. 2 adults, 3 children. It’s far cheaper than any price I was getting from Virgin over the last 4 months even factoring in petrol and a hotel stay.
Includes checked luggage and free seat selection.
Such a relief to finally have it booked!

Hi, first time posting on here. Looking at flights to Miami for the summer. 1 adult 1 teen 1 child. Have these options:

Virgin economy classic £1817
British Airways economy checked baggage (operated by American Airlines) £1787
Norwegian low fare plus £1814

Any advice on which is best to book? Thanks

I wouldn't go for Norwegian - their share price has fallen off a cliff over the last few trading days.

Unfortunately the impacts of the Coronavirus scare won't be kind on companies that have been in any kind of peril as we've already seen with FlyBe today.

It is unlikely to take much of a dip in bookings to really put big pressure on the airline after their recent financial woes.
