I know I haven't posted in these forums for a while but I just had to say the fact these 'red list' hotel quarantines even exist in the UK makes me physically sick. It's just so disgustingly wrong on so many levels.

Absolutely - a complete cash cow. The ironic thing is, once you are back in the community you're likely to catch Omnicron (obs I hope you don't, but they reckon millions of cases by the end of the year).

We're home. The disorganisation continued up until the very last minute. Security were supposed to escort us from our room at 8.40. At 8.50 I phoned reception to be told ' the mini bus isn't here yet, you'd have to wait outside ' me - ' that's fine ' . 4 minutes later reception phone back ' you realise the minibus isn't here and if you wait outside you can't come back in ?' Me - 🤣🤣yes, that's FINE . Security escorted us down at 9am, we gave our room number as we walked past reception. One woman was waiting outside for the bus to Gatwick. 9.05 a mini bus turns up, it's for Heathrow but not for us , there's no one else waiting 😐9 .15 security have come out to see why we are still stood there next to an empty mini bus the woman for Gatwick has phoned reception and told them we are all still waiting. Security make some phone calls and suddenly the mini bus is for us . We left at 9.20 , tfhe woman for Gatwick was still waiting.

So glad you are out of it now but the fact you even had to do it in the first place is a disgrace!
