Virgin Flexible Policy - but may want to change to after cutoff
After our cancelled trip last year I rebooked the flights for May of this year. Now it look like we may not be able to go but looking at the Virgin Flexible Booking Policy it seems like if we went for travel vouchers or rebooking you have to have travelled by 30th April 2022.
If we are unable to go this May I would have ideally liked to bump it to May 2023 so does anyone know the implications of that - ie would we be able to make these changes and just not benefit from the free change policy (so pay flight cost differences plus an admin fee) or are we locked in to the travel before the end of April or lose our flight costs? I cant find any info about this and I've been on hold for over an hour so figured it might not be a bad idea to ask the experts here! Thanks |

The policy looks clear that you would have to travel before April 2023

Just for Info,
I've spoken to customer services and they said we could change our flights to so random dates within the pre april 2023 cutoff (for free) and then when the flights are released for May 2023 we can then change them again but pay any costs incurred. |

I’m pleased to read this as it’s what Id been hoping to do too. I asked the very same question yesterday morning before I rebooked using our voucher, but was told no. The only option was to return by the end of April 2023 or lose the lot as the system wouldn’t accept the original booking code beyond the cut off date. Hopefully there is a way around this like your customer services person says. By ‘costs’ did they give an idea of what type of costs this would be?
