Our wet room is my favourite thing. Do easy to just walk in, shower and walk back out without having to worry about water going anywhere or squeezing into a cubicle.

I'll never understand a preference for showers over a long hot bubble bath! And it's an essential for those with kids.
Fair enough if you want a wet room and not planning on selling for years but lost count of the amount of houses with newly remodelled wet rooms I dismissed when house hunting! Developers seem to think it's what people want but I think they are wrong haha

He has offered on it, but they apparently have 3 other offers. Sellers did say they would sell to their preferred buyer rather than the highest offer (don't want to leave neighbours with a student let) - so fingers crossed.

Me neither. Showers are for getting clean but a bath is for relaxing. So I have one - when I'm not using it I fold it up and put it in a cupboard. You can have a bath with a wet room

It's difficult to read a book in the shower

I couldn't personally do without our downstairs loo. So I couldn't imagine taking it out.
We have , however, in a previous house, taken out one of the en-suites as we felt it really wasn't necessary (there were x3 originally and a family bathroom) Made the bedroom much bigger. Which suited us and our family better.
We did convert it in such a way that the plumbing was still there, and when we sold we told buyers that there had been another en-suite there should they wish to easily re-instate it.

When you say smashed, many moons ago my Mum once drove through a wall in an integral garage and into the downstairs loo, she had it extended into a utility room. 50 years on and I’m still laughing, thinking about the look on her face.🤪
