New York to Orlando flight prices
Hi
I am looking to stay in New York for 3 or 4 nights then flying down to Orlando for 10 or 11 nights. Then back to NY for the return home I have priced up and the flights to New York are quite a bit cheaper than orlando so, I thought I would do a 2 centre holiday as always wanted to go to New York and it only works out a little bit more. So, how much can I expect internal flight prices to be please? August 20th - 30th. I'm hoping to get a flight for £150pp is this acheivable? and what airlines are good to fly with? My budget for LON to NY is £400 pp So overall total for all flights is £550 pp or less hand luggage only and will upgrade to 2 suitcases I think 2 adults 2 children Thanks

thats not too bad per person one way.
I guess it would save alot of time on the last day going back from orlando flying into one place and out of another seems so much more expensive

Best I found on your exact dates is in and out of Newark as below on Google flights. American Airlines/Eagle are obviously a good carrier.
This one is £98 return with hand baggage only. Having done this sort of thing before a fair bit, I would try to avoid flying back up to NY. Why bother if you can travel straight out of Florida at a similar price? In my experience, a one way Florida-London costs a good deal less than a one way London- Florida. I would be looking initially for a multi flight solution.. London- Any New York Any New York- MCO, Tampa or Sanford. MCO or Tampa - London. Having found a decent one, I would then try breaking down the legs into individual bookings as you have several days between each flight. I have done a multi flight on your exact dates, guessing 16 Aug, 20 Aug, 30 Aug and it came to £695, Norwegian on the long legs and without baggage... however if you can slip 2 days forward as in my illustration below... £515pp plus baggage on the outward, Norwegian leg only! The return to London is with AA. Baggage is cheap with Norwegian. If you chose to fly home from Miami. You can get it down to £480 with all flights direct. Hope it helps. I would now try these solutions on Skyscanner, Kayak, Opodo etc before then trying direct with the airlines concerned on their own websites.

I wouldn't put a NYC -> Florida return in there, unless you were intending to stay in NYC at both ends, which I'm guessing you don't.
Price up flights heading to NYC outbound and then returning from MCO, TPA or MIA etc, and then buy a NYC -> Florida one-way ticket. |

thanks everyone, yes, definately thinking that there is no point going back to NY for the return home as means less time in Orlando just trying to decide on how many days in NY and Orlando etc.

We did this last April and doing it again for Oct. not booked our internal flight yet but last year used jet blue and they were brilliant! Flew from JFK to MCO and sure it was around £150 pp inc bags. You can get cheaper seats and times that we did and we booked direct. Also got a cheap upgrade with them contacting us close to the fly date. Will definitely be booking with them again.
Really recommend doing this two centre holiday and yes, flights to JFK cheaper than MCO by quite an amount!
